New Build: Blavatnik school of government

The building has been designed to promote open discussion, interaction and collaboration.

Herzog & de Meuron are among the world’s most influential contemporary architects and their work inspires a huge following. Established in Basel in 1978, they have won numerous international architecture awards and are known for some truly iconic buildings such as the National Stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the conversion of Bankside Power Station in London into Tate Modern.
