What is an artist’s studio today, and tomorrow? Beyond app based palettes, physical spaces remain vital for experimentation and production in solo and collective structures.
Studios are disappearing to other construction across London and this pattern is mirrored elsewhere. Cities of concrete and chrome crumble without these fruitful energies. This new and evolving group show, curated by A M Hanson and premiering at Republic Gallery during Photo Month, presents lens based and mixed multi media reactive ideas, studio scenes and dreams from establishing and emerging artists, photographers and filmmakers.
